WHAT IS CORRESCOPY?

Microscopy and spectroscopy are essential techniques used in many types of research and industrial applications. Nowadays, the information about single sample is collected by number of different microscopes or spectroscopes in order to gather all required data. However, the information, even received from the same physical sample it is not the information originating from exactly the same location or feature of that sample. Data collected in such way is further analyzed and correlated, however lack of the overlapping information from exactly the same location brings a question about the correlation of the collected data. Moreover, the results are often questioned by scientific reviewers.

Correlative microscopy conventionally is (or was) related strictly to correlation of the information gathered from two microscopes from exactly the same location on your sample (e.g. cell), usually: light microscope (LM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Many manufacturers of microscopes of spectroscopes often offer very sophisticated equipment, requiring high equipment investment, which allows such correlation. However, often that information is not enough to sufficiently characterize and describe the sample of interest. There is increasing need for real correlative microscopy (correscopy) which allows to characterize exactly the same sample on any characterization device.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Correscopy provides correscopy! The possibility to characterize exactly the same sample on any microscope or spectroscope even if the scope was not prepared for it by a manufacturer.

Correscopy provides undisputed data which makes your clear-cut conclusions.
